Mizoram University (MZU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament on 25thApril 2000 which became fully functional from 2ndJuly 2001. It is located at Tanhril about 15 Kms from Aizawl city, the capital of Mizoram. Its campus is about978.1988 acres with blossoming lush greeneries.
The university offers wide ranging subjects like Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Horticulture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (HAMP), Environmental Sciences, Extension Education & Rural Development. M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.S.W., M.B.A. as well as B.Tech in Information Technology along with M.Phil and Ph.D courses.
